JAN 2010 – Turkey Chili

INGREDIENTS:

1pkg. McCormick Original Chili Seasoning Mix
1 lb. lean ground turkey
1 large can of stewed tomatoes, pureed or diced
1 large onion
1 green pepper
3 cans S&W or Safeway Pinto Beans

INSTRUCTIONS:

Dice onion and pepper and sauté in olive oil until cooked down. Add turkey and brown.
Stir in seasoning mix and stewed tomatoes.
Add 2 cans of pinto beans undrained, and 1 can drained. It will depend on how thick you like it. Bring to a boil and cover.
Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve with sliced red onion and a couple Tablespoons of shredded cheese.
