Ingredients:

6 Rome Beauty, Braeburn or Golden Delicious Apples
3-4 Cans Sugarfree Black Cherry, Raspberry or Red Soda
Some clients enjoy adding sugar free Canada Dry Ginger Ale
Cinnamon
2 Teaspoons of Raisins per apple
Walnuts, added as desired

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Core apples, or scoop out the center. Place them in roasting pan.

Pour 3 cans of soda over the apples. The soda should come up about a third of the way up.

Sprinkle cinnamon over the tops of the apples. Be generous if you like cinnamon.

Place in the oven uncovered for 1 hour. Your home will have a great smell like an apple pie in the oven. The apples are done when they start collapsing.

I always tell my clients that this recipe is always a wonderful dish to bring to your holiday parties. This allows you to have a dessert that you can feel good about. It is always great heated up for the morning as an addition to breakfast or as a dessert in the evening.
